Norm Thom, and Steven Katzman each have more than 30 years of legal experience defending people accused of wrongdoing.
Norm Thom was in charge of the public defenders office for the 4th Judicial District.
In 1986 Norm Thom founded this defense firm with Bobby Lane Daniel. They were joined in 2007 by Steven Katzman, who had his own defense firm in the Denver area since 1978. Bobby Lane Daniel passed away in September of 2010. Liberty Law clients have the advantage of a defense team approach, with more than one attorney working on their case. We also have associations with lawyers throughout Colorado whom we can call upon at no additional cost to our clients.
Our Experienced and Caring Staff
Jo Baker, Crista Denton, and Valerie Valdez are our valued employees.
- Jo Baker is a Colorado native and former employee of the local District Attorney’s Office. She has been with Liberty Law for over 23 years.
- Crista Denton is a Colorado native. She has a B.A. in Anthropology from Colorado State University and a Paralegal Certificate from Denver Paralegal Institute. She has worked with us for more than 11 years.
- Valerie Valdez is also a Colorado Native. Prior to joining our firm in July of 2008 she worked as a legal assistant at a Personal Injury firm.
