Our client was accused of Felony Assault on an at-risk adult.  Felony Assault on an at risk adult carries a maximum possible penalty of 2 years in the Department of Corrections (prison). Our client denied the allegations. He worked in the healthcare field and was facing a felony conviction which would bar him future employment opportunities.  Prior to charges being formally filed, our attorneys spoke to the Detective on behalf of our client.  The Detective wanted our client to do a polygraph and a video interview, but our attorneys advised our client that they were not required to do either.   After our attorneys discussed the case with the District Attorney, it was dismissed before formal filing of charges and our attorneys had the case sealed by the Court.
